Maintenance Policy
The policy of Oilsand Expedition Ltd. is to maintain a safe working environment. The objective of this program is to control hazards in the work place. All company facilities and job-sites shall be included in the inspection program.
Informal inspection shall be conducted by supervisor on a ongoing basis in the areas of responsibility and employee will be asked to participate.
Employee must visibly inspect daily the tools and equipment that they are going to be working with.
Formal inspection shall be conducted by the manager or designated person at each facility or job site on a regular basis.
All tools and equipment shall be properly maintained so as to reduce risk of injuries to employee or damage to property.
Supervision shall ensure that all preventive maintenance is carried out by qualified personal according to established schedules. All employees shall regularly check all tools and equipment that they are working with and notify their Foreman/supervisor of any tools or equipment that poses a hazard. Then it will be taken out of service by the Forman/supervisor's directions.
All tools and equipment will be put back to work when it meets manufactures specifications.
